Los problemas de la Gente Dulce.
PASTELITA: No sé ni por donde empezar…
GLASEADA: Empiezo yo. Una de las peores cosas de tener la cabeza como un donut es que la gente no puede evitar querer encestar pelotitas de papel en el agujero de mi cabeza. Y tienen muy mala puntería. Estoy cansada de que me den en la cara.
PASTELITA: Yo estoy harta de que me den lametazos. Y cuando estornudo me llueven fideos de chocolate.

The problems of Sweet People.
PASTELITA: I don´t even know how to start...
GLASEADA: Well, I´ll start. One of the worst things of having a donut head is that people can´t resist to shoot little paper balls into the hole. And they are usually bad shots. I´m tired of paper balls hitting my face.
PASTELITA: I´m sick of being licked. And when I sneeze I get sprinkles rain.
THE CUPCAKE ON PASTELITA´S HEAD: Well, I´m happy anyway.

Manzana

Estamos con la asociación Gente Colorida. Hablamos con Manzana, una de las socias. “Somos un colectivo de personas de un color antes desconocido por la humanidad. Verdes, naranjas, amarillos, a topos.”. Le preguntamos si es difícil encontrar trabajo. “Ahora hay muchas oportunidades, gracias a la asociación. Yo empecé haciendo de semáforo humano con una chica ámbar y un chico rojo. No ganábamos mucho, pero nos divertíamos.”. Ahora es una reputada estilista. “Yo, por ejemplo, soy más verde que una Granny Smith. Es obvio que necesitamos ropa que combine con nosotros”.

We are meeting the association Colourful People. We talk to one of the members, Manzana. “We are a collective of people of colours that used to be unknown to humanity: green, orange, yellow, with polka dots...”. We ask her if it´s difficult to find a job. “There are more opportunities now, thanks to the association. I started working as a human traffic light with an amber girl and red guy. We didn´t make much money, but we had fun”. She is now a renowned stylist. “In my case, for example, I´m greener than a Granny Smith. It´s obvious we need special clothes that go with us.”

 

Delfina

Delfina siempre ha querido ser marinera. Le encanta el estilo náutico y no hay cosa que le haga más ilusión que poder saludar a bordo. Pero no se subiría a un barco ni loca, se marea muchísimo. Eso no le impide vivir como una marinera… en tierra.

Delfina has always wanted to be a sailor. She loves the nautical style and her fondest wish is to be able to wave on board. But there is no way she would do that, she gets terribly seasick. It doesn´t stops her from living like a real sailor... on solid ground.

 

 

Piratruska & Monalola

Piratruska y Monalola son piratas de tierra firme. Su lugar favorito de saqueo son las casas de mujeres mayores. Aprovechan el momento en el las buenas señoras salen a hacer la compra para localizar sus joyeros y cofres. Despliegan sus banderas, se hacen una foto delante de su trofeo y lo dejan todo intacto, ya que las joyas no les importan demasiado. El verdadero saqueo ocurre en la cocina: arrasan con todas las galletas, madalenas y pasteles caseros. ¡Se vuelven locas!

Piratruska and Monalola are pirates of solid ground. Their favourite looting places are the houses of old ladies. When the lady leaves the house to go to buy groceries, they come in the house to locate their jewelry boxes and trunks. They spread out their flags, take a picture in front of the trophy and then leave everything intact, since they don´t care much about jewelry. The real looting happens in the kitchen: they polish off all the homemade cookies and cakes. They drive completely mad!

El trabajo de Caramelina es fabricar bastoncillos de caramelo. Hace cada pieza con todo el esmero y cariño del mundo, y le preocupa mucho la calidad de sus productos. Tienen que ser absolutamente perfectos. Ay, no hay un bastoncillo de caramelo en el mundo mejor que los de Caramelina.

Caramelina´s job is to make candy cane. She puts all her love and care in every piece and she is really concerned about the quality of her products. They have to be absolutely perfect. Oh, there is no candy cane in the world better than Caramelina´s.
