Manzana

Estamos con la asociación Gente Colorida. Hablamos con Manzana, una de las socias. “Somos un colectivo de personas de un color antes desconocido por la humanidad. Verdes, naranjas, amarillos, a topos.”. Le preguntamos si es difícil encontrar trabajo. “Ahora hay muchas oportunidades, gracias a la asociación. Yo empecé haciendo de semáforo humano con una chica ámbar y un chico rojo. No ganábamos mucho, pero nos divertíamos.”. Ahora es una reputada estilista. “Yo, por ejemplo, soy más verde que una Granny Smith. Es obvio que necesitamos ropa que combine con nosotros”.

We are meeting the association Colourful People. We talk to one of the members, Manzana. “We are a collective of people of colours that used to be unknown to humanity: green, orange, yellow, with polka dots...”. We ask her if it´s difficult to find a job. “There are more opportunities now, thanks to the association. I started working as a human traffic light with an amber girl and red guy. We didn´t make much money, but we had fun”. She is now a renowned stylist. “In my case, for example, I´m greener than a Granny Smith. It´s obvious we need special clothes that go with us.”

 

Coryza

¡Horror nurses! ¡Las enfermeras de los monstruos! ¿Quién pensaba que los monstruos no necesitan atención médica? Los problemas más comunes son: contusiones por peleas para demostrar quién es más maligno, hipertensión, ataques de ansiedad de los novatos… por no mencionar las indigestiones de los zombis, los constantes cambios de vendajes de las momias (“para ellas es como ir a salón de belleza”, nos explica Coryza), la anemia y quemaduras de los vampiros… La lista es interminable.

Horror nurses! The nurses of the monsters! Who thought monsters didn´t need medical care?
The most common issues are: contusions caused by fights trying to prove who is the most evil one, hypertension, panic attacks of the novices... not to mention the indigestions of the zombies, the constant changes of dressings of the mummies (“it´s like going to the beauty salon for them!”, Coryza explains to us), the anemia and sunburns of the vampires... The list is endless.
